The I-20/DS-2019 is a legal government document that is created when you are accepted
to TROY. You need this document to create your visa appointment and enter the United
States. To be able to receive your I-20/DS-2019, you need to set up your TrojanPass.
Your immigration document (I-20/DS-2019) will ONLY be emailed to your troy.edu email
address. You will have access to this email after you set up your TrojanPass.
TrojanPass
Once accepted for admission, your TROY email will activate within 24 hours. TrojanPass
accounts will provide access to Office 365, TROY Email, Canvas, and many other IT
services. All official university communications will be sent via TROY email.
If you do not already know your TrojanPass username, go to and select 鈥淲hat's my TrojanPass username?鈥
* Enter your Student ID number in the top blank box, your last name in the second
blank box, and your birthdate in the third blank box.
* Click 鈥淕ET USERNAME鈥
Authenticator App
Please view the video below with steps on how to set up your TrojanPass.
It's important not to use text messages for log-in authentication. Instead, download
and use the Authenticator app. The reason is that your phone number in the U.S. will
be different from the one in your home country. Once you change your phone number
upon arriving in the U.S., you won't be able to authenticate your log-in through text
messages. However, with the Authenticator app, your phone number doesn't matter!
